PLAYING IT ONLINE
1. When you have downloaded and
installed, you can play singleplayer
fine. But if you want to play online,
you need to download this:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YU0SYRJO2. When you have downloaded Garena,
install it. Now you should make an
user on it.
3. In Garena, find and click Settings
Which is located at the top of Garena
When the settings appear, find and
click Left 4 Dead in Lan Games list
on the left.
4. In Executable Settings, browse to
your left4dead.exe, ex:
C:\Program Files\Left 4 Dead\left4dead.exe
5. In Game Bootstrap Parameters, fill
in: +sv_allow_lobby_connect_only 0+sv_lan
6. Click OK button and you are done
ENABLING THE CONSOLE.1. Start Left 4 Dead
2. Once on the Menu, click OPTIONS
3. An extended menu will appear at
the right, click Keyboard/Mouse
4. Find and click ALLOW DEVELOPER
CONSOLE
5. Another extended menu will appear
right side, click Enabled
6. Your developer console is now
enabled.
JOINING A GAME1. Find IP Adress, click on the user
whom host room to find their Garena
IP, or find at the chat, EX:
192.168.29.xx
2. Start your Left 4 Dead.
3. Once on the Menu, press the "~"
key (Above TAB, besides Enter on
danish keyboards) on your keyboard
to call the console.
4. Type in connect[space][ip adress]
and wait until the game load.
ALTERNATIVE WAY OF PLAYING ONLINE1. Start Left 4 Dead.
2. Click on Friends Playing near the
bottom left.
3. Choose a server
4. Double click the server or click
Join Game to join it.
HOSTING A GAME1. Start Left 4 Dead
2. Type in map[space][map name]
(Map list will appear after spacing)
in your console and press Enter, ex:
(Co-op)map l4d_hospital01_apartment,
(VS)map l4d_vs_hospital01_apartment.
CHANGING THE DIFFICULTY1. Type z_difficulty[space][easy]
OR, normal, hard, impossible in
console to change difficulty.
FINDING YOUR IP AND PORT1. Call the console, now type in
net_status
to find your Garena IP, EX:
192.168.29.73
Now it should work PERFECTLY online.
For some people, the console might
not work...
